All joking aside.
Grime is not and never has been a "black music". London's youth are not segregated in such a way that this music can be credited to any one race when all the big MCs, Producers and dj's come from such a wide spectrum of ethnic backgrounds.
Big up anyone doing their own honest version of Grime music. Even if it is in a different dialect, accent or even language. Just do it and make sure YOU like it. Other people may or may not catch onto what you are doing eventually. Don't listen to anyone who says you aren't allowed to do...
No it isn't.
It is an accurate description of the demographic the music played by 1xtra and in so called "Urban" events appeals to. They predominantly live in the UK's densely populated Urban areas.

Unfortunately you will.
The Residency is a mix show with a host. And Plastic will be focussing on the best of Grime & Dubstep beats with a handful of vocals. Interviews with Jammer & the man dem or Fire Camp are unlikely to be a part of the set up.
I enjoy hearing our guys on Westwood though...
What it illustrated is labels are idiots promoting the wrong artists and giving the public albums full of music which do not correllate to what made said artist "big" on the underground in the first place. They are looking for gold selling artists from a form of music which has only existed as...
