I think people facing a DJ is good. If you go to a club to see one of your favorite DJ's then you probably want to see them. Plus the fact some people (me included) might want to see them mix. Its cool that everyone faces the DJ and there's a interaction between them and the crowd. If theres no...
So sound quality, personality, quality control and mixing skills all down the shitter.
I kind of get the "I don't care what you mix on" thing, selection and quality of the set should always come first. But it really bothers me that it seems like its gonna get to a point where the...
Seems to be pretty set in stone now that Vinyl in clubs is dying out. Pretty tragic that people like Youngsta had to switch just cos clubs can't be bothered to look after turntables.
Also CDJ mixes can sound so machine-like sometimes, can hear them a mile off.
Does anyone know why clubs have...

Fact with yet another mix that I had to download (is it just me that thinks their mix output has gone pretty mad recently? Although the Jon Convex mix was pretty pants).
I'm a big fan of Kryptic Minds, the new album is maybe a...
Breakage's early dubstep output was insane. Callahan, Untitled, Late Night, Rain, Higher ect. Shame he seemed just to see dollar signs and run for the mainstream though.
As a big Youngsta fan i'd also agree that while the TL represents his show well, he's missed out a lot of good tunes and put some more mediocre ones in. The lack of Kryptic Minds tunes is a bit disappointing as they always do the best "Youngsta style" tracks.
Shame also he doesn't play any Mala...
I'd say Garage as their are far more better tunes from all sides of the genre, the darker stuff, the vocal stuff, the housey stuff.
I find most vocal tunes horribly cheesy. :slanted:
Got to hand it to Coki even if you don't like his tunes, I like the way he is willing to say fuck off to all the people who know him just for Night and Spongebob.
Been expanding my knowledge of the lesser known (but equally good) 2004-07 Dubstep era. Easy just to remember DMZ, Loefah and Tempa but so much good stuff from around that time. MRK1 is one who forgotten too much.
Joe Nice is another name who has managed to do it. Only really down to the fact he knows and gets tunes off pretty much all the original dubstep crowd.
It's a great album imo, can't say i dont like a track on it. I think the percussive work is great and the intricacies of the production are impressive. The Sub on Feral isn't too bad too lol.
