Riventruck, I was calling "Saturday Night Wrist" the post-hardcore version of A.R. Kane. If you're ever bored, look up interviews from around that period. It's amazing, fans HATE that record, but to me, it's easily the greatest thing they've ever done in their existence.

I swear we had an alternative metal/nu-metal thread where I covered tons of bands like this, but one band that is completely uncool was "ArmsBendBack". NYHC post-hardcore with a blatantly radio rock bent who were just a few too many years ahead of that boom. Their EP and 1st album radiated potential, but they were marred by weird production changes, poor choice in singles and a fairly shit singer.
