but in a herzogian ense, it does make sense, his "ecstatic truth thing i mean. he's not bothered about real-world truth. i can't beleive i'm having to explain this to you.

Probably that they are both simplistic/pure expressions of one idea taken to its logical extreme and without any extraneous ideas or stupid characters bolted on.

But I doubt he watches either so it's probably just based on what he thinks they are like.
You could argue that herzogs ecstatic truth is the same sort of approach as "luka facts"?

I love the bit where he said "it has to be real - but safe" I actually think I heard Dyer groaning in the background at that point "Nah it daant mate, gotta be a propa norty faking tear up and no mistake".

I saw the trailer for that at half time during the footie on tnt of course.

The other day I saw this weird comedy on iplayer called Henogeddon or something, all these lasses from brum on a hen night in Wales when an apocalypse wipes all the men and I suppose most of the women. They fashion spears out of sharpened dildos etc in a mad max type future. One of the girls has a septic wound on her leg and starts hallucinating that she is being visited by her dream man - Danny Dyer playing himself.
