You have to listen to it in chunks or fatigue sets in. By doing that I discovered the brilliance of the last quarter. There's a totally unique RZA tracked nestled somewhere in the second half.

This is the kind of album that makes me want to write apocalyptic prose poems. Like in 1999, when I was listening to Heavy Mental and Quiet Weapons for Silent Wars daily, and ended up writing a manifesto riddled with psychic premonitions of 9/11. It is precisely why I shouldn't listen to this music, because I strive to keep these impulses in check and become a socialised adult.

mind you that was also the last time you knew how to write so i wouldnt stop listening to the killah priest just yet.

capadonna released a double album this year too.

It's like Cuban Linx meets Cold Vein. I don't care what any of you think of Cold Vein, it's bad, and this is like....oh man. I'm trying to write about it but it's too much. It's Wu-Tang going from cult to religion.

There hasn't been a hip hop album this relentless since Get Rich or Die Trying, and that fell off after 5 in, this is at least 7 til I can take breath.

and, craner, I think it's better than Heavy Mental. I like that - and it's deep, and I can pretty much recite it - but this one is unprecendented. It's like until 14 tracks in that you can even stat to think, it's the Ulysses of rap, who would have thought.

and that RZA track? "after the sunshine...."...'COMES THE RAIN"

I musta listened to that about 25 times already. It's fucking amazing.

this is the best song though. its got that sade restraint and expensiveness except sappier, without the hauteur.

hey luka, this is completely random, but I remember you posting this one song few years back and I can't remember its name or the artist. I do remember how it sounded though, and I'd really love to hear it again so here goes:
the beat was pretty sparse and the vocals were heavily autotuned. the rapper was from Sydney if I remember correctly and bore some resemblance to French Montana. the video starts off in a stretch limo and then continues in an empty fancy club.

I think it was you who posted that song so if you (or anyone else for that matter) can recall its artist/title I'd be most grateful!

here's some Prince Eazy for your hassle

his mixtape Hooligan City (ChiraQ) is worth checking out if you don't mind the annoying DJ drops

bandz ahoy
I dunno how the fuck you post soundcloud links on here but y'all have already heard this

It just gets better and better the more I listen to it. I might have to crack out Dreamchasers 3 again and give it another go.
