Nat Birchall is pretty cool for new stuff. I got his “Invocations” CD for a guy at work for secret centre once and he was well happy.

It's hard to get away from Jazz in this here town.
And damn some of what was dissed as ' fusion ' and sneered at in it's time by the old guard still sounds like fresher then much of what is about today.
For example -each of the 4 sides of this Weather Report Live release just burns intensity- check w yer sub Bass on ...

Even just Zawinul's entry on River People ...
