I could have been a doctor, it was very much going that way academically, but I'd recognized at an early age that my bedside manner might be suboptimal. Maybe I'll retrain if that isn't a problem after all.
Nowaday people prefer robots to operate on them. "Bedside manners" not high on priority list if it ever were

the german prosecutor has opened an investigation whether the people who projected this have showed symbols of unconstitutional organisations. really tells you all there is about how fucked up germany is and that the only reason they have laws that forbid such symbols are to suppress whoever they want while at the same time pretending they combat anti-semitism.

One of the last doctors I visited, it was really quite uncomfortable.
talk about "excited to see you" with their eyes all lit up and such - they were getting really too entirely all close up and personal, practically climbing on me during one part of the exam, and being WAY overly touchy-feely

I thought maybe I was just imagining it as I walked out of there, but then I talked to my mom about it, with her having seen the same doctor before, and she was gobsmacked because she said that he is completely cold and stand-offish when she's in there.

Reminds of me stories I've heard about people who've reported really awful stuff they've seen on Facebook (like child porn) to the FB admins, who've then reported *them* to the police for "sharing illegal material", while taking no action against the users who actually shared it.

Do the Republicans' opponents have anything better than trivialising Nazis by calling Republicans Nazis? Haven't they already be trying this for years and it just doesn't work?

Dems were on surer ground calling them Nazis before the election, but doing it while they're in the losers seat might just make Nazism seem like badass winners' club.

(Half of Gen Z in the UK want to be ruled by a dictator...I don't think invoking dictators non-stop is helping.)

The idea that Musk is a schemer doesn't fit his autism: autistic people have a strong sense of right and wrong and they speak their mind compulsively.

I think they're also quite hard to corrupt because of their strong sense of moral justice. So, the ideal person to lead an audit (autit).

Musk had a private meeting with Modi yesterday.

Trump was asked by the press if Musk was meeting Modi in his capacity as an American CEO or as an US government employee. Trump was unable to answer.

13 kids?!
jeez - and i'm now seeing the names for the first time - he named one of his kids Techno?!
I do like the name Azure though. That's a pretty name, and kind of rare.
X Æ A-12 and Exa Dark Sidereal are the worst though.
You can tell they're not worried about their kids having to attend public school.
