Don't think I've ever said it. Usually there's been some small engagement with something he's said or done. Usually something that made him look the total cunt he is. Whereas now I'm at the "fuck Keir Starmer" stage, where I'd just like to see someone punch him in the face.

Biden only just won. And that was because the left and black caucuses mobilized their bases for him. Starmer clearly doesn't give a shit about left or black voters. Or young voters. Or anybody other than conservative white pensioners. And maybe he's right. The Tories are trying to ensure nobody else will be able to vote anyway.

Anyway, I'm not exactly the world's biggest Starmer fan, but I'm always surrounded by how much people hate him. I don't even mean on dissensus, I see it on fb and twitter and everywhere. The left of the labour party in particular seems to reserve far more vitriol for him than for their ostensible enemies in the Tory party - which I suppose I get cos of Corbyn and so on, but there seem to be loads of others too who have no particular dog in the fight but have absolutely visceral hatred for someone that I tend to think of as annoyingly bland. Which is a terrible thing in itself, but something which, almost by definition, tends to be hard to get worked up about.

He won 306-232 in the EC and beat Trump by over 7 million in the popular vote. That's not squeaking by.
And the most recent seat prediction gives Labour over 500 seats and puts the Tories in third place behind the SNP.

slightly deceiving because in some of the toss-up states he won to get that 306, he won by relatively small margins (for example, 11,000 votes on Georgia).
It was more than that, though. He mobilized "the left" and Black voters in general, but also won a significant percentage of suburban white independents and moderate Republicans who were sick of Trump/MAGA. but I get your point.
