he already accomplished his tasks before he was elected and then just accelerated. turn the labour party into a party with a middle class voter base and alienate the old union structure. He had no other choice. He was too tied to the old left and its irrelevance. ash sarkar and neill oliver may even be having dinner together in 2032

You trust polling then and don't think it might be tweaked the way you claimed the media might be?
If by "tweaked" you mean "deliberately falsified", then for the polling orgs that have been consistently accurate in predicting the outcome of elections - YouGov in particular - I don't think so. But which party someone says they're intending to vote for is an easy thing to record, and then after an election we get concrete numbers showing how people actually did vote. Why people voted the way they voted (or the way they intend to vote) is a far more nebulous and complex variable.

I'm saying he's unknowable because everything we can learn about him is via compromised sources.

how many of us are going to get close to the guy?

in millenium / zoomer parlance I'm an NPC

I once "trained" with a "gang boss" who said to me "if you were in a club then my boys would make sure you wouldn't come within 25 feet of me. no way would you get near me" and that's a gangster ( who you have never heard of, unless you check the TAI CHI UK CHAMPIONSHIP TABLES ) from Manchester, just imagine the levels of security that surround Starmer - of course everything we know about him is mediated by media

Is this just a brag about how he was super scared of you?

You can get the answers you want by phrasing the questions a certain way, although I read this in the media so maybe it's bollocks too.

That happened decades ago, under Blair.

I should have said almost exclusive there.

you are correct to pinpoint my imprecision in syntax, for once.

You are also correct to note that Blaire was the main catalyst. But Starmer, as such, inaugurated the collapse past the point of no return.

Of course, for us, it was only ever a bourgeois party with a working class voter base. 1918 or 1997. Now it is a bourgeois party plain and simple.
