there's only really two short bits of the year here where the weather is good, fall and spring. fall being the best one, as everyone knows, and its short, maybe two and a half months. the rest of the year is freezing cold or boiling hot. its very beautiful at the moment. bright blue skies and brown leaves. the clothes are the best at this time of year as well, you don't need to wear shorts and you don't need to wear massive functional coats to stay warm. a chill in the air. the thing that always comes to mind is the dylan album cover of whatever that famous one is where he's got his arm round some girl's shoulder walking down the street. and the atmosphere is chilled too. pleasant. for a short window you aren't fighting against the elements. the clocks go back and its dark at 5pm. in the fall the cultural stuff gears up after the summer lull and there's a million things on across the spectrum, and it does't feel like a hassle to go to them coz its so nice out. pigeons do circles in groups over the park

none of that round here, every day has been either torrentially raining, hurricane force wind, sweltering sun or dank oppressive grey, combinations each day but never a placid moment so far this autumn

it has actually been beautiful last two days but sufis been in doors with the curtains closed furiously chain smoking skunk spliffs

it's so wet! all of the lands are saturated. i'm traveling from holland to germany in the train now and the countryside is looking very swampy. even crazier is it will be really cold due to some cold air stream coming from sweden next week, with temperatures below zero, i wonder what that will do to all of the wet land. it's all feeling very much like that movie the day after tomorrow

in what would normally be the depths of winter, i'm cycling around at night without needing gloves or anything. 700 days since we had snow apparently. it felt like spring yesterday, on january 10th.

March 14th in nyc, wearing suncream, tank tops and shorts, suns out guns out, purple sitting on pallets in dimes square. living through the early days of the catastrophe

Only worn shorts to the pool so far this year

East coast spring will be blossom season soon, chilly one day mild as fuck the next

In a surreal way I miss the swamp intensity of summer humidity, fireflies, the aircon freezing up, walking out of a cold mall into 100 degree melting tarmac

Scorchio weekend by British standards, aired the legs and not taking shorts off now until October, official policy

Storm blew in, seriously intense wall of water followed by hail, so went from mid 20’s to 10 degrees in minutes
