knife's edge but biden has a path with all the mail-in ballots. trying to keep the faith. senate is a disappointment.

biggest takeaway: people (like me!) tried to rationalize and explain away trump's win in 2016 as an aberration, an obviously unqualified and unsuitable candidate who pulled an inside straight by getting voters who said "the system is fucked, let's blow it up with a nutty reality tv show host". but this 2020 vote proves trump is not an aberration. after four years of evidence, half the country still say he's their guy.
