Food is like the last analogue product isn't it. That guy from blur, Alex James, was saying how in the early days before they got famous, blur made a sketchy living doing pub shows for a couple years. And that doing that is impossible now. So all the people who would normally have been in bands now work in craft beef places, or do Sunday food markets.At this point, cuisine would be more fully abstracted, away from necessity, into a pure art, perhaps in a manner analogous to that of painting after photography.
