This is a cool video and I love the woman's enthusiasm (although it doesn't surprise me one bit that she's an entrepreneur as well as a general advocate - but then, if it's good enough for Paul Stamets...). However I'm a bit perturbed the idea of promoting ibotenic acid as any kind of a medicine - this is a substance that's been called "a potent brain-lesioning agent", which doesn't sound too good to me.
First time I'd heard the hypothesis that Count de Vecchj might have eaten some other, much more toxic Amanita mushrooms along with the fly agaric, but to be honest it make sense to me that he died just from eating an insanely big portion of fly agaric, given that he was also a massive fat geezer with all the health issues that come with that - he likely had high blood pressure, diabetes, heard and/or liver problems, who knows.
