Plus WYH threw all his toys out of his pram so hard they're still in low earth orbit and blocked me, if you recall.

I've got a golden teacher syringe and grow bag ready to go but not done it yet cos you need to put it in a place that is 22 degrees constant which seems impossible at the moment. But my friend tried putting them on top of fridge and that seemed to work but not full yield.

Looks like muscaria to me, but what do I know.

Interested in the format of it, just the dry cap? Or powder?

Any instructions?

Posted this from my cheapskate knock-off android so the bad picture of the toy got lost

I've not built it yet and you can't see from this picture but you get a stalk, the head and a cute little frog to assemble into one of those things you can dangle from a backpack

Today I found a tree stump with a big Ganoderma bracket growing on it that was so woody it could support all 82 kg of me.

just had these delicious Japanese sweets - seems to translate as "mountain of mushroom"

edit: @woops deserves credit for correcting my faulty translation - it should be "mountain of mushrooms"

Boshed the last of the 2022 vintage of liberty caps this morning approx 930am, had it in ginger, caradoman and brown sugar tea cos they were smelling a bit ropey.

Head out and it was wild and windy. Drew a few trees and then hit a local beauty spot just as they came on. Cue staring into puddles, drinking stream water, sitting on bench and having a lot of thoughts.

Then headed up towards a pub on top of the hill but it was obviously shut, cos if was only 1030, and it started throwing down.

Insane amounts of rain, my trousers completely soaked, boots wet through. Thought best to head home. Literal streams of water rolling down the roads. Had to marvel at it.

Got home and did a little painting, realised it was 23 March 23 so did loads of lettering on that theme. Accidentally pulled a painting off the wall and also had some issues with the fire.

Then it brightened up so I struck out again, went for a single pint of 6% ipa as a treat, had a good chat with the barman. Coffee and sarnie on way home.

All in all a good one.
While on this trip I took a photo to an unusual twig in this dale I walked through.

Decided, at the time, not to pick it up, but it was very attractive, cos i thought it was an animal leg.

Went back to the same dale today, almost exactly 2 months later, and saw the exact same twig, so this time picked it up. Cleaned it off a little.

Done a few drawings of it

I'd like to do a plaster cast of it and recreate it in bronze
