Although some the people commenting on the huge blog post about Ĺaurel Canyon reckoned that he had faked his own death - although I dunno what had caused them to think that.
On 14 April 2015, I presented a lengthy video deconstruction of the 2013 Boston Marathon incident through the Caravan to Midnight radio show/podcast. About a week later (on 20 April of all days), the nearly four-hour video presentation was uploaded to YouTube. Not long after that, someone using the username Phoenix Archangel posted an interesting comment: "John [Wells, the host of the show] always signs off with some of the best advice ever. Speaking of advice: this David McGowan fella really ought to quit smoking. With all the elitist feathers he's ruffling, he's likely to come down with a spontaneous case of hitherto undiagnosed stage 4 inoperable Pancreatic cancer."
No it was more kind of angry and accusatory as I recall, I have a feeling that his son or daughter was maintaining the blog at that point and half the comments were "Isn't it just a little bit too much of a coincidence that your father died precisely sixty-eight years, two months and three days after Marie Prevost did, by exactly a quite similar method of death and how BOTH of them (except for your father) were eaten by their own dog eh eh? Do you people think we're stupid or something?".conspiratorial thinking I suppose... "too close to the truth", "upset people in high places", etc.,
He died aged 55, on the 52nd anniversary of the assassination of President John F Kennedy, 6 months after being diagnosed with an unusually aggressive form of lung cancer.
It's the mauve tie, isn't it?Some Spanish ex-police commissioner is claiming the state was involved in terror attacks in Barcelona in 2017 in order to destabilise the Catalan independence movement.
He's apparently incredibly shady himself though, so some people think he's trying to rebrand as a whistleblower and distance himself.
He certainly looks shady...

I know people at Tapol pretty well - they know what they are talking aboutThe headline's a bit strong as you can't blame the whole thing on some inflammatory leaflets coming from the foreign office, but this is grim;

UK’s propaganda leaflets inspired 1960s massacre of Indonesian communists
Pamphlets attacked the president and foreign ministerwww.theguardian.com
"Documents newly released in the National Archives show how propaganda specialists from the Foreign Office sent hundreds of inflammatory pamphlets to leading anti-communists in Indonesia, inciting them to kill the foreign minister Dr Subandrio and claiming that ethnic Chinese Indonesians deserved the violence meted out to them."
The Act of Killing? Yeah. Strange film.I know people at Tapol pretty well - they know what they are talking about
have you seen that film where they reenact the massacres?
i didnt hear about that oneIs the follow up any good? Never saw that one. The Look of Silence.
"A middle-aged Indonesian man, whose brother was brutally murdered in the 1965 purge of communists, confronts the men who carried out the killings. Out of concern for his safety, the man is not fully identified in the film and is credited only as "anonymous," as are many of the film's crew positions. Some shots consist of the man watching (what seems to be) extra footage from The Act of Killing, which includes video of the men who killed his brother. He visits and interviews some of the killers and their collaborators—including his uncle—under the pretense of an eye exam."i didnt hear about that one

Yeah, I was getting annoyed with all the sarcastic comments like "Who's surprised by this?!" and "Duh!?" but then it is totally unsurprising and there's nothing anyone can really do about it.crazy that I see that and think "of course they have".
