A Liniment's Evil Work

Cylob - Lave Trader

More Cylob, this one lusher, quite Detroit-y

Originally released under the Kinesthesia name where you can also find gems like, oh, uh, wait... it's no longer on youtube so I'll have to dig it out myself............

^ work of art if I do say so myself - it's always the stuff you toss off in 5 minutes, isn't it?
all of the images and graphics generated only by using the record artwork (including outer sleeve/jacket, obviously)

Corpsey

bandz ahoy

Autechre - Lowride (1993)

Heard this on Ross Allen's NTS show earlier and was of course horrified to discover...

Not sure if they ever did anything else like this with the hip-hop-style jazz piano sample, which I found a refreshing counterpoint to their usual stripped back electro style here.

I very much appreciate the effort although the tune is very not my cup of Stygian cybernetic tea

They did one with scratching and a Dr. Octagon sample too.

I heard that piano sample from 'Lowride' in another tune recently.

understood - probably just @thirdform and one or two others around here, besides myself, like that kind of noisy shit when it comes to beats
although, at the very least, you can now hear how much range was on just a four track e.p.!

TIME COW - DUPPY 1 + 2

FUTURE SOUND OF DANCEHALL IN DUB

( edit: apparently this is not "real dancehall" because it doesn't get as many YouTube views as mr beast, it's not like I couldn't write a bot army to inflate views, when did the number of views dictate QUALITY? )

I got into Italo Disco about 15 years ago and heard this back then. One of the first I heard for some reason, forgot what it was called until it just popped up on YouTube and I recognised it immediately. First time hearing it again in 15 years and it still stands up.
