Vibert came up in one of the jungle threads recently (@dilbert1 ?)

made tracks at the intersection of all manner of ‘styles’, a lot of it I can leave without feeling too much guilt but he can produce music capable of ageing beautifully, constantly evolving and opening up at volume. First heard in the Derbyshire Dales, crossover tempo, last of anarchic sessions

and then you could lob in a tune like I Love Acid which I love and loathe in equal measure - it’s not remotely psychedelic but I had a moment on potions with it which has stayed with me ever since: massive 8ft neon coloured flatfish interdimensionally swimming through an outdoor dance floor, heavy qualia ok so serving it up too

Blasting this in Brooklyn with the window down yesterday, 90 plus degrees out, mad traffic, in my very dirty LeSabre with a big crack in the windshield and all four hubcaps missing. Its got a nice sounding system though
