there isn’t a dud on the entire lp, an lp which still hits track after track
my own copy is beyond battered, just good to see the tunes turn up here and Neil rereleasing old wonders
thought you might pipe up there! I’ve got the lp + ode rammel 12” for the louder sound. peak brithouse goodness. (only one other bit on diy though unforch). ‘clear my mind’ & ‘till the feelings gone’ my other mega faves. latter seemingly borrowing and blending ukg and tribal hse sounds to great effect.
as I’m the cheatin’ kind, yesterday’s biggie:
it’s those steady-bumpin, almost subliminally-affecting grooves that are doing it for me in this my house week. that aesthetic confidence to know when to leave things out is v tasty in dance music innit.

If you have the time it’s worth exploring CW’s works and aliases - Love From SF, Furry Phreaks, Presence, DJ Profile - as his quality control was so high. Never been easier, he’s up there with DKMA/Callisto for more ethereal elements, has the depth and punch of Mood II Swing and grace of 95 North
Of course, there are duds, yet he was buy on sight and his influence is all over releases from this region if you include Atjazz, Rhythm Plate, up to Sheffield and beyond

I’ve picked up fair few love from sf, furry freaks but nothing else I’ve been too thrilled about. always diggin and siftin though so sure something good will turn up.
