It's my understanding that nearly all "Swedish" porn in the 70s/80s was actually made in Denmark, Germany or the Netherlands, but for some reason was marketed as Swedish in the Anglophone world because Sweden was supposed to be this sort of promised land of sexual permissiveness and impossibly hot blonde laydeez.

Ironically, whatever it was like 40 or 50 years ago, Sweden today has some kind of Minister for the Prevention of Sex and Fun whose job it is to ban Lavazza adverts for being too racy.
