i keep telling yaa if you have the need to get serious and stop fapping around you can be the best rockabilly dj ever. No need for mixing. Them mans were so laddish they make Liam Gallagher look like perfect Peter from Horrid Henry. Discipline yourself!

very kind of you to say Rich. tbh I don't know too much about this stuff. Buck & Bury gets rinsed fairly often though.

we need more depressing music in the world tbh. everyone should become extremely depressed when they listen to music, and get rid of the foolish refuseniks like Craner. Happy music is only for sad people, real eudemonics listen to angry music because they know that 21st century well being comprises depression.

to put this in less polemical terms there is a theory i hear once in a while that sad music is made by otherwise happy people whereas cheerful sounds are only made my bloody miserable b*st*rds

This thread is very much a mixed bag. There are a few good tips and a quite a few others where people have made an effort so that they fit the bill but which I'm just not that keen on. Apart from those - and I don't mean to sound ungrateful here - as always with these kind of threads, there are loads where people have just gone "here is a tune I like" and not even pretended to try and meet the brief. I guess that doesn't matter though, we get to hear some cool stuff and, even if they are not in the style I asked for, if I like 'em enough I'll just play em anyway so fuck it.

But in terms of what I asked for...

And I played it randomly at the club I have in mind for some reason, long before I had this brilliant idea.... and if I remember it went down pretty well.
