Fair point. I haven't had the wherewithal to read Foster-Wallace myself. I'd rather read Gaddis or The Man without Qualities.

Ahahahahaha give Dave some credit, he was a brilliant logician. Which did him no good as a novelist haha. I don't think he ever played video games and he hated porn even as he profited off of it in his article "Big Red Son", which I do not recommend. But I know one thing: no matter what, he's better than Bret Easton Ellis who probably did watch porn and play video games.
Oh, and I figured out an example of "heartfelt, political male lesbian fiction": Chris Claremont's massive run on Uncanny X-Men. Read "Days of Future Past" or "God Loves, Man Kills." Watch X-Men TAS. What do you think of that @william_kent ?
