There used to be loads of record label guys on dissensus
if any of them are still lurking on here, I'm still looking to put out some of my nu-skool breaks revival material
one of them got played on nts two years ago if that matters (1:37:40), more demos available upon request

I listened to that out of curiosity and was wondering if you've maybe sent demos that to labels that sometimes release stuff in somewhat similar styles like Shaw Cuts, Sneaker Social Club, Ilian Tape (particularly the white label series) or Nerve Collect of the top of my head.

Not you personally, I didn’t even hear the music connected to your example.
I’m an old school jerkoff that niether understands, never mind finds merit in any millennial BS.

I deleted a post where I maintained Jeff Mills is more of a genius than Zappa

I don't why I deleted it, probably because I was angry

JEFF MILLS 909 SOLO

one man and a drum machine makes more people dance than Zappa and a band

Without (yet) listening to it. I don’t take any offense. If pressing a button “makes people dance” never mind meaning anything. You win.
I’m old fashioned where (as I am not one) a composer ‘cause sound that makes Europeans twerk is considered genius…..it’s like Gaelic or pre-Christian sounds, heresy to one such as you and far too many of your generation….embarrassingly ofey.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I shall shake my fist at the clouds.

he's not "just pressing a button"

it's like Jimi Hendrix let loose on a box of knobs

why "makes people dance" in quotes?

forget old fashioned - You're profoundly ignorant.
I'm guessing you probably don't realize there is a DEEP history of non-europeans being involved and also dancing to this music (and not just white people).
In fact, there was an exhibitions recently at The Smithsonian and The National Museum of African American Art on Drexciya
