I was just at a football match at the Madjeski stadium in Reading today, and the tannoy announcer sounded a lot like Logan Sama. You cool would that be, if Logan was doing the honours on the mic at Upton Park? "Yo.... this is Logan Sama, I'm the best there is at what I do.... Craig Bellamy has recovered from injury....."

lol. i've never heard grime at a football stadium - though at my team, afc wimbledon, before the teams come out we often get benga and coki's 'night' (surprised the hell out of me first time they played it).

LOL... yeah, last week people on there were acting like they forgot (or never knew) that Wiley is the king of war...

multiple people were saying Goodz version of Nightbus was better than Wiley's legendary Movement slewage on self same beat...

i mean, Goodz is certainly more of a musical presence on the mic than Wiley, but really no one in grime can beat Wiley on this type of sending...

also LOL on the side conversation on Grimeforum about IF Wiley REALLY does coke or not and what that means in respect to his reputation as an artist..

Any "must haves" I have missed? I did get a bunch of others but never really got into them like with these. (just got tinch v maniac which seems pretty cool on first listen)

Organised Grime's "OG Season Vol 1" is excellent. If you like Dot Rotten then you'll dig this one, he's all over it.

Quite liked the Fuda Guy one too, although I've only had the chance to listen to it once.

Yeah yeah - I got that when the nice man in Uptown said I should check it. But it says 2007 on the front so I guessed I had just slept on it... it's great!

Fuda Guy I also have but it didn't really grab me. But yes - must try to give it another go.

What about DOKs instrumental mixtape?

EDIT: How could I forget Riko! There were a few grumbles about the tracklist when this came out and most of the tracks are pretty old, but its still easily one of the best grime releases this year.

For my tastes,

Hungry Season- Lil Nasty
Key To The Game 3- Roadside Gs
Peng Food- Frisco/Alwayz Recordings

Interesting responses -

Riko I caned to begin with but then just couldn't be bothered with more than half of it. It's just too bloody long. I shld do a cull of the tracks I don't like on my ipod.

Peng Food I quite liked - but "skeng man mode" was so much better than everything else on it...

I also quite liked the bless beats one.

Will look into the others!
