A big boom, that rattled our windows and front door, caused by the detonation of a WWII bomb that was found yesterday - over two miles away.

This is what the explosion looked like - bear in mind they dumped 400 tons of sand on top of it first:

To put that in perspective, that was a heavily muffled blast from about half a ton of high explosives, whereas the explosion that wrecked much of Beirut last year was equivalent to about a thousands tons.
