are/did people enjoy(ing) that Jack Sparrow album? finally got around to listening to it, afraid it's might get ignored because it's not especially "new"/"forward thinking" sounding, but is extremely well produced and pulls from Tectonic/DMZish 2005/2006 halfstep, a jungle sound palette and a little bit of 4/4 techiness. definitely not stark tho, really lush and pretty dubby. cool stuff, as much as I'm enjoying the routes this music's been taking, still love this sound.

I haven't actually given it a listen.
I think I have him mentally tarred as a bit shit, mainly because of the name. In general, choosing a character in a Disney film as your alias seems like a poor choice, unless you're making some sort of dreadful 'ironic' nu-rave toss.
