anyone heard any new mala dubs in the past year or so? Remember when there used to be tunes popping up every couple of weeks or so but now I hear pretty much nothing about his output... Miss the days when you'd come across tunes like livin different and drunken swagger, see those tunes as a real highpoint in dubstep

These were all on Joe Nice's show recently. Probably all a year old at this stage, so many old dub he doesn't need new ones.

Piles of stuff I've only seen on youtube which is pity, given his philosophy and all that.

yeah i went.

was good actually. Mala got stuck in Belgium apparently but Coki's solo set wasn't nearly as bad as i feared. Silkie's set was big - Test sounded fuckin immense on that system. Loefah vs Hijak was excellent in parts. I will never complain about hearing Goat Stare, Root or I remix over a DMZ soundsytem as weighty as Saturday's was.

loefah started out playing Swamp81 type stuff.. nearly all of which sounded proper mint. then he dropped a few of his classics 05/06 classics.. then they played jungle for the last hour.. they played for ages.. about 2 and half hours

it's like 2006 again! in a good way. it's totally in the style of the classic marijuana / gangsta 4 life ones. i really like it. coki's the only guy who can get away with stuff like this really isn't he. especially these days.

that sounds brilliant.
