Yeah well maybe not compared to OIL or DRUGS. What?Yeah, just like indie rock in the 90s was "everywhere" but hardly what I'd call commercially "huge"

Reverse snobbery is looking down on people who think they don't have to act like dumbshits or scumbags.

It was huge in the UK, since Oasis at least. Less so in the US I suppose.
That mayb be true of actual independant music. But 'indie' rock as we know it now was mahoosive in the 90s you know.
Oh, so you're a scumbag if you're poor? Another brilliant insight.
Oasis was gobbled up by the majors very quickly--went from Creation to Epic right quick.
You love it don't you?
Your tactics of derailing and obfuscating discussions / arguments that don't go your way might work to some extent in the real world but on here everyone can see what I actually said.
Actually I expect they've all gone home and given up by now. See you later tate...
I just meant as a style of music, an attitude. I think Creation were a subsidiary of Sony by the 90s. Anyway, everybody knows that Britpop was an evil scheme hatched by John Major to stop internationally-sourced, cosmopolitan dance music.
