Fantastic finish by Messi against Spain tonight, even better than his goal against Racing weekend before last. Does make you wonder how Argentina would have done at the WC if they'd taken players like Cambiasso, even if Spain weren't playing a full strength XI and hit the woodwork about a million times.

Still, 4-1 is a startling result. Why oh why didn't Argentina take their best team to the WC? Kinda devalued it a litle.

Probably goes someway to explaining your result. I felt at the WC too much of the play was going through Messi and he was picking the ball up in too deep a position, which wasn't a problem last night under Batista.
Agree about the devaluing comment. A lot of people moaned about the WC, although I personally enjoyed it, but you always want to see teams to play to their best ability and it's fair to say that Argentina didn't.

I was with my Caley Thistle supporting best mate watching them win 2 -1 away at St Mirren, which was a rather more enjoyable way to spend the afternoon I have to say.

We (Norwich) lost at home yesterday to a side who've not won away for a year. We always do this. Any team or player bang out of form only ever needs a trip to carrow rd to turn things around. Jeez.

I'm afraid you seem to have temporarily confused 'beautiful' with 'really fucking horrible'. As a Wednesday fan, it shouldn't surprise me to go from top three form to losing four (?) games in a row, but it seems that I never learn. Not that I have as much invested in this as I once did, but please can we stop failing in PRECISELY THE SAME WAY every time?

just for future reference you can download games through torrent and http on fbtz.com. Most the games are pretty high quality and big ones are in HD if you have a decent computer. I love the epl but being on the west coast its the site i use cause i cant watch a game at 7 am or il just fall asleep...
