I think the lines are starting to blur more between funky and the crew from outside. For one the crew outside with labels are the only ones pushing the sound to audiances outside. Numbers, Hyperdub, Hardrive, 502, Local Action, Night Slugs... whatever all get on it and release what they can, get it out there. I've seen a few funky fans get a little hostile to it but I think they're just being protective and grumpy. There is to much energy and vibes to contain in one section of the UK its gonna spread. The music is gonna get closer too... I mean dubstep peeps have been vibing off funky energy for some time now and as long as that keeps rolling the two are going to get closer and closer. Thats gonna make for some intereting music I reckon. Before it burns out anyway... I can see it rolling for a while yet mind.
p.s. the dude on deja right now is sounding sweet as, cheers for the shout.
