It's a shame, there were loads of great Funkystepz productions that I heard for the first time via their show. At least they seem to be coming fairly consistently with the releases at the moment which makes up for it somewhat.
Kind of surprised they're letting Circle go, the times I listened to their sets (which admittedly wasn't too often) they seemed to have massive amounts of people locked in and sending shouts etc.

heard it from someone at the station, but i'm sure it's only rat, geeneus and a few others who know the truth re: who's coming and going. the circle thing surprised me when i heard, im glad that part's not true.

A lot of you will be aware of this already I'm sure, but Ossie's 12" for Lightworks is out now:

(Digi due later in the month).
There's also a mini-article on him in XLR8R, including free giveaway:

And if the tracklist to Kode's Essential Mix is accurate then he's had Set The Tone & another tune called Moves signed to Hyperdub for later in the year:

(This mix also contains the first tune I've heard by 'Funk Bias', and it sound pretty promising :D ).

Wish I could go to this. Petchy Vs Mak 10 ffs!

I went to this in the end.

Was a good night. Had a laugh, proper atmosphere at times.

Think I caught Jook 10 at early doors who was mixing amazingly to an empty floor.

Petchy was a no show :( Mak 10 was class tho, playing loads of bassline and garage as well as grime and funky bits.

Marcus played loadsa anthems mixed with some hard bodied tunes that the in house system at IF bar didn't make sound that weighty.

Surprised me that it was tracks 2 or more years old that were getting the best reaction and battered like new dubs.

Anyone else reach?

Speaking of Roska remixes I'm quite keen on this one:
***
The video for Deep In The Valley turns out to be pretty funny (imo):
Some vaguely Trigger Happy TV kinda vibes..

Will post some more about releases and stuff in a wee bit (been trying not to go too overboard on it lately).
