I'm completely won over by Cooly G. Bought her EP from BM, but the newer tracks on her myspace are absolutely fantastic, especially 'Weak' and 'Last Night'.

These, alongside Geeneus' remix of 'Sirens', Roska's 'Nasty Nasty', and the second track of the two ripped from that Marcus Nasty set are keeping me so excited about this music right now.

when i hear (great) stuff like this, it reinforces what i've felt for a while which is that in certain parts of the spectrum there is very little difference (10 bpm?) between what funky and dubstep, as post garage london hybrids, at best could be.

i mean that "New Cooly G Dubplate" could be a peverlist tune, and he's hardly the housiest of dubsteppers!

EDIT: lol her biog says "NOW IM NOW FOCUSED ON WAT I REALLY WANNA DO AND DAT IS THE DJ/PRODUCTION (DEEP HOUSE TRIBAL DUBSTEP VIBE)"

Haven't had a chance to rip that footloose, probably won't to be honest.

Just download Audacity and do it yourself.
