If you lived in Gaza and had had your home destroyed and your entire (civilian) family killed by Israel, you'd probably want to kill Israelis too. But your obsession over what Hamas or Gazans in general "want" to do is irrelevant, because they obviously have no means to kill Israelis en masse. Hardly any Israeli civilians have been killed since the assault last year, while Israel actually does possess both the intent and the means to kill Gazan (and now Lebanese) civilians in vast numbers.
