Re-watched Wild at Heart last night at the movie theater on a pretty beat up 35mm print, sitting way up close in the second row. The big screen delivered and it was well worth the repeated viewing. The opening scene alone was such an instant raucous, every one of Laura Dern’s sublimely violent screams piercing through my skull.

saw it tonight, the same shitty print as you did, the first reel especially had like a green hole wavering in the middle of the screen. dimes square felt cinematic walking out of there

lynch films are hardly slow but compared to recent films it felt it. it's less compressed. you almost need to be patient with them

He's absolutely fucked from smoking now, says he can't even walk across a room without getting out of breath.

Just saw this. Nine times out of ten I don't really care about celebrity deaths but this is the one I do.

I think Lost Highway is maybe the best... OK confused towards the end but that bit with them receiving the video of themselves sleeping is still one of the creepiest things I've ever seen. And the Mystery Man bit...
