Sort of?Is that the one taking advantage of an ambiguity in the rules?
You get two steps after you pick up the ball, so the euro step is when your first step is slow and exaggerated in one direction and your second is the same in the oppositeExplain the eurostep to us
there's the shamgod
I think dribbling is very hard I pretty much do none of these moves in a game except sort of a cross over which is really just something that happens naturally when switching hands
I can't believe we're only just hearing about that, what was the score?Still smoked gus in our 1 v 1 though
Hes way more strong and athletic than you but i can imagine him being very uncoordinated. Balls hitting in the face, hes tripping over his laces etcStill smoked gus in our 1 v 1 though
That makes sense to me... I can't really do a flip-flap on demand cos despite being invented in the seventies it wasn't really popularised around the world until Ronaldihno started destroying people with it (some people thought he invented it cos of that) and so I didn't learn it growing up, but sometimes I do something like it by accident.
What's dream shake then?
But it's a way of sending someone the wrong way no... beating them in other words.Hakeem's signature feint.

But isn't that a specific type of feint? I feel like you're splitting hairs here.Yeah, and I mentioned feinting as one of the options available.
But isn't that a specific type of feint? I feel like you're splitting hairs here.
I agree with that... but the fact that they gave this one a name suggests to me that at least someone thought it was more than that.Yeah, probably is splitting hairs. I just feel feints all fall under the one thing. It's not a clear trick in the way doing something specific with the ball is. You just wiggle around in a loose sort of way. I wouldn't call Messi dropping the shoulder and dribbling past someone a 'trick' like I would an elastico or a rabona.
I agree with that... but the fact that they gave this one a name suggests to me that at least someone thought it was more than that.
It's funny though, the dropping the shoulder thing is possibly the most effective of all when it's done properly - you never really see Messi doing stepovers nevermind that hocus pocus shit or whatever but he beats a lot of people.
Right, but I think it's also too vague and loose to be a proper trick in the way a crossover or going through the legs is. I don't think Kareem's 'skyhook' is really a trick either. It's just the way Kareem would shoot.
Yeah, definitely. I'm sure people lose the ball more often than beat their man when they try the flashy stuff. Messi's approach is much more effective.
But there gotta be more ways of beating people, there gotta be.
Pass through your legs or through the opposition players legs?
