dunno, sorry.. i don't really *do* vinyl myself (thereby saving myself massive £££ i expect).
it's not been on any of their mixtapes. there's a one minute clip on 'heavy meckle'.

Do you never feel the urge to own stuff like Icerink or Pulse X on wax? I know you are a huge Grime fun and it's seems such an integral part of it. It is expensive though you are right! Seems like a legitimate thing to spend lots of money on somehow.

yeah i make a few exceptions! only a few mind. i could so easily get into buying everything that comes out, but probably best that i don't haha. i 'do my bit' by buying every crappy mixtape that comes out.
someone should make an inventory of all the ruff sqwad productions a la 'wiley eski-oeuvre' thread.

Right. It is too addictive. It's not like I'm a DJ playing out regularly or anything, but once you've got yourself two or three Wiley 'essentials' it seems rude not to get that second-hand 'Freeze', 'Snowman' on ebay and then before you know it you are well into the eski-oevre and bagging everything in sight! Then the Ruff Squad back cat, Slimzos, Jah Mek The World etc. So much good stuff. It's nice to feel you are supporting too; though as you say this can be achieved through CDs too, which is also enjoyable.
I've been able to not start on Wiley's releases and other essentials. Ruff Sqwad has been my only weakness, though I didn't buy all the Pied Piper vocals (that always seemed a bit pointless to me..). I do need Havana/Funktionz from Xtc though, I'll pay you better than Mos Dan / BokBok 
just wanted to say its a crime that more people dont recognise that roachie and ruff sqwads all day long is the best grime song EVER EVER EVER

I have an MP3 sans JME's chat but it is no better quality otherwise. The vinyl i have is really treble-y and not very good quality anyway, so i doubt there are any better vinyl rips around.
yeah, i played this out this week after being reminded of the song by this thread and man, was it a bitch to EQ, shit sounds hollow as hell...

Yeah, don't know what the problem is (in technical terms?) - just a low quality pressing i guess. I crank the treble down and bass up. Hollow is the right word.
After searching for 'ruff sqwad', all day long, on google rather the 'roachie' i found the vinyl rip surprisingly easy. Sounds fine on my earphones but hasnt been played loud yet.
Ive been listening to ruff sqwad all day, 'r u double f' sounds so good laying out in the sun.
Anyone still have those old school ruff sqwad radio recordings? I cant help but love radio but have no ruff sqwad, appart from the only set on barefiles.

That would be amazing! I have a few sets, will up them. One with Ghetto. And quite a few individual tunes that have been cut from old sets. I'll get on it on Monday.

Any Ruff Sqwad sets upped would be appreciated. My old computer died and I had to buy a new one and so now most of my pirate sets are gone. I am left with one Ruff Sqwad set from 2004 that sucks really, really hard.
No one can get through any of their bars. They must be drunk or something. They spit like 8 bars and then go into that fucking "Yo yo.... okaaaay then.. listen" etc. thing over and over again.
