i might do a big fetid boosie dump here if you dont mind, not now, but in about half hour or something....

Imma wallow in this fetid boosie dump later tonight, I'm liking what I've heard of him so far. 'Fetid' is actually a good choice of word for him. Something about his voice makes me feel all dutty, but its compelling stuff for sure.

dear peter, what the fuck is that supposed to even mean?

there are things jim jones says in his verse... first is referring to Rajon Rondo, point guard for my Boston Celtics...

second means "what's up" in haitian creole, which i find hilarious for jom jones to yell...

I know I should hate this but I really like the beat and I can't get this tune out of my head after a few listens. Odd Future members in the video (Left Brain in the car), apparently she directed some Lil B videos too... e.g. ''Like A Martian''. It probably helps if you don't watch the video because large parts of it are irritating as shit.

noz is bored of the lex sound. im not yet. i dont care. it'll take long for me to get bored of that. listening to dj pauls new thing now. what did you lot think of the bittrsweet symphony thing? i really lik it. those strings aree so great and i always thought it was a shame that cunt moaning all over the top of it. its better as a rap song.
dj paul has a dad jokes interlude comlete with jarring fake laughter.
(its lody not lex but... same difference)

that bittersweet thing left me cold, it's not just the strings tho the verve beat is there too. that loop is pretty tarnished for me cos my upstairs neighbour used to hammer the verve song endlessly. that and fools fucking gold. for days. reminds me, my mate said he recently heard an underachieving UK rap version of the fools gold beat.. looking forward to not listening to that.

I wish chavs were as acceptable as fucking hipsters.

At least I have some stuff in common with chav instead of these bank rolled hipsters.

As you can tell, this topic annoys me

are they necssarily rich? these type of kids dont exist in london but to m they look like the skater groupies that are common in australia and presumably california and are not necessarily loaded.

nah shoreditch is done, it's the new cross-dalston axis. and they don't buy night slugs records, they recreate their own not-quite-as-good versions.

Clearly bank rolled. Just like the ones in London, who move to London and dont work.

Also the same ones who always seem to get arrested at those marches in the City.

This is surprisingly good for her. Her friend V-Nasty is actually a much better rapper, but I don't know, I can't take the "White Girl Mob" serious for obvious reasons.

I was hesitant to post that Kreayshawn tune for obvious hipster-hating reasons. Whenever I'm in the gym there's a couple of videos on the TVs featuring East LDN trustafarian girls rapping ironically about wearing socks. It does my meat-head in.

Still, no point denying that I like the tune. Perhaps its just the ''Gucci, Gucci, Gucci'' hook that makes me think that Gucci Mane would fit perfectly over that beat (not to mention that her flow on this reminds me of Gucci on ''My Kitchen'' or ''Yellow'') - that cartoonish feel to it, the flying-saucer synth.

205,000 views after four days...

i like it. th only thing that jars me a bit is the kayneisms.

Yeah, I got this too - ''back against the wawwwwl''. Reminds me of Drake (urgh). Pusha did it on ''Fear of God'' quite a lot, too. The thing is when I hear it it puts me off listening to a rapper, I quickly write them off as generic if they do it (and having ''Bittersweet Symphony'' in the background doesn't help in that respect). I suppose its just one of the 'stock' styles of post-Kanye rap, though.

I really like ''Purple Swag'' and the Max-B esque ''Get High'' is quite good too.

New Curren$y, taken from upcoming album ''Weekend at Burnies'' (coming out June 28th). Quite good, his flow is as strong as ever and the beat (by Monsta Beatz, who's producing the whole thing) is solid too. The thing is I feel that on 'Covert Coup' Alchemist really brought that soulful, guitar-heavy, spaced-out but urgent production to the next level, whereas Curren$y's stock producers (Ski Beatz/Monsta) can sometimes make tunes which are a bit bland and muzak-y, too close to REAL 'Elevator Music'... that's what the low-points of 'Pilot Talk' 1 and 2 feel like to me. But obviously both Ski and Monsta (particularly Ski) are capable of making brilliant beats.

Curren$y's flow never really seems to change all that much but I think Alchemist did bring the best out in him, or matched him somehow. When a Curren$y beat is middling it makes the music as a whole almost TOO smooth, lacking any tension, in cruise control down the middle of the (sun-kissed and smooth californian) road.
