Going through the Audio Rehab back catalogue, liked this one a lot:

Nice and #emoesh in all the right ways.

The flip's got great aggro synths which kind of remind me of funky.

I am coming around to the stuff quite a bit. Still don't think I could handle a whole set of it, and really fail to see anything innovative or forward about it at all. Still, I suppose if you just think of it as like, dark, good house then there's no problem!

Yer RS4 is a badman (you may or may not know that it is the new alias of Oris Jay aka Darqwan)

You summed it up with that last line...I wouldn't say that this is a new genre, but House music has such a wide spectrum and the 'in' sound atm (chords, vocal sample disclosure/ben pearce-ish stuff or bait NY house rip-offs) is far too formulaic and boring.

When I lock into Mark Radford i can hear where producers are experimenting and pushing their own boundaries (if not the boundaries of house/techno music in general)

really feeling this bit from DRKMTTR aka MixKiddMuzik out on Playtime Productions' Recess Recordings. So dark yet minimal and subtle.

bare BARE BONES
Must be a very easy sound to jump on for producers of other styles cos everyone uses exactly the same presets

Great to see producers from all styles (Ed Case!) converging on one sound. Unity is strength and all that.

Mark Radford's show was good last night. Currently got this on repeat which he played to close out.
