Stan used the word globalist and if he'd used the word neoliberal I'm no sure I would have followed his train of thought in the same way.

Never thought of it before. Do you think it does the same job?
I think it probably does. It seems to refer to more or less the same things - free trade, shrinking of the state, dissolving of borders etc - without pinning it on the Jews and running with the language of anti-Semitism.

Why can't you just use "neoliberals" instead of "globalists"?
I think the notional opponents of the globalists (or whatever we want to call them) are just a somewhat different flavour of neoliberals though, aren't they?
