One thing I'm talking about is, in short, building a thinking machine out of separate parts, a productive one that generates exciting results.

Yes but you can do it, sometimes, with all the different little people working together, that's the magic bit
It's making the little brains into one big brain. That's where the action is. They don't always cooperate though so it's aggravating.

Cause think about it: we're always-already doing what we're naturally predisposed to do. I'd rather tap into tat fuel source than have to fabricate one.

edit: ah ok.

But that's a Third Formish statement it borders on self-parody - arguing when there is no argument.
And if there's not, who cares, let's just argue anyway and soon there will be one.

Everything is an argument in politics (especially those pretend to be neutral judgments) like I've repeatedly said, but tonight people just seem to want to go for me because I have a different perspective. Very democratic.

and I'm not shitting this out of my arse, but yes stereotype me as a troll and fail to consider me as a real living person if it makes you feel fucking good.

"War is simply the continuation of political intercourse with the addition of other means."

Not my idea.

Yes, and you and boxedjoy are missing that it was remainers who called the referendum. They unleashed their own frankenstein's monster that they could not control.
Uh, only if you consider "remainers" synonymous with "David Cameron".

Nonetheless, there is only one of him. Your post implied that millions of pro-EU people were desperately demanding a referendum about the UK's EU membership in order not to change it.

No, my post implies that the remain campaign itself was manufactured. It was a campaign, in a very real sense, invented by Cameron.

Cameron as entrepreneur. People like Maugham were not really all that political prior to the ref. That especially applies to Carole Cadwalladr who would unselfconsciously literally interview any silicon valley proto-fash nutcase before seeing the light.

But it wasn't even a neutral judgment. I don't know what you're referring and i don't think you do either.
It's not about trolling or whatever, I just find it so frustrating that so much of what you say can be interesting but the other half is anger so misdirected that it makes it looks as though you can't even read. But no, I never feel as though you're speaking in bad faith (which I think is basically what trolling is), it's just that so often you're looking for the attack on you that you see one that isn't there.
