There is a current which carries...
The patterns on the surface are perpetually in process of disintegration
And reintegration in a different guise, each form just a suggestion,
((Flutter of the eyelid))
before the next in a fluid series
replaces it DISINTERGRATION )(REINTERGRATION
the tension between these,
MOVE and counter-move-
Watching water-
A SINGLE EVENT twined round a reel of Time.

Is anyone else getting absolutely pelted with emails from a democratic candidate called Jamie Harrison? I've never knowingly subscribed to any mailing list. Wondering if this could be a nefarious Republican tactic to make people hate the democrats.

political campaigns buy email lists from various sources: media, other campaigns from the same party, special interest groups. if you signed up for or donated to one (even in past years), you're probably on a list that got bought by Harrison's campaign.

he's in a hugely important race against Lindsay graham and has received enormous amounts in donations, so he's spending like a drunken sailor to try and win (or raise even more money, if you're located outside of South Carolina). doubt he'll beat war hawk/neocon graham, but it would be tremendous if he managed to pull it off.

@luka Well the established equilibria are active within some margin of mutability, so never static, if thats what you mean. That is, certain parameters may be fixed around other more flexible and dynamic functions, so you're left with a system that is not entirely in flux, but partially in flux, digesting the signals it receives and incorporating the information, being informed.

@Corpsey no, as @Leo said if youve donated to anything.

A significant amount of republicans want Biden to win. Trump was like a shock to their system but some know that if they win this one, the party will disintegrate. So a vote for Biden is also a vote to save the restorationist wing of the republican party.

Even some of his old rural religious supporter base is beginning to become disillusioned with him. for all the bellicose rhetoric, Trump has not behaved much differently compared to conservatives before him. Informative read here.

They're frankly in bigger shit than the dems.

That being said, the 2018 senate race was the closest it had been since the 70's, so theres reason to believe it may actually be 'up for grabs'
