Can't recall if I mentioned it but the wife got it the first week of November. We isolated from one another at home, I slept on the couch for a week until she tested negative. Her symptoms were mild, just one day where she went back to bed at noon. I never got it.

For the record, I absolutely positively in no way enjoyed even one minute of the week's separation from the misses.

this is one major thing that societies are wrestling with at the minute i think. now that we've got a good grip of how social media / the internet works, how do we weigh up and work out where the lines should be on what you can and can't say, who should be able to draw those lines, and what role major platforms should play.

the answers aren't at all clear to me personally, including what should have been done in the covid years. i'd probably lean towards letting states make some kinds of decisions about what information/misinformation can be published online myself.

super interesting seeing the inside of twitter content moderation though. surely this is all in an intermediate stage where people are still getting to grips with how to do this properly.
