Confused this was the Bill Kent porn booth confessional segue, but you know HmmGuv’s a hentai man, lurking, making and trading nft‘s of big eyed girls in ankle socks

there is no "Bill Kent porn booth confessional segue", it's all a figment of @luka's imagination ( although it may be somewhat based on an ill-conceived "funny" post I 'might" have made and then deleted after 10 seconds, but full "props" to him for remembering it )

Its really weird to me that there's confusion around why someone would wear a mask considering that there is a large cohort of vulnerable people out there and ofc, covid is still killing millions. Not to mention the tsunami of evidence pointing towards some really nasty ongoing and long term effects.

It will vary depending on where you live, but in general, approx 2-5% of the population is immunocompromised for various reasons. Another 5-9% have some kind of long covid, at least another 10-15% are over 65 and/or have various co-morbidities. That's probably about 20-25% of the population who are highly vulnerable and could suffer severe outcomes if they catch covid (again) even if vaccinated. They have no real option but to wear a mask outside if they want to avoid potentially serious health outcomes. At the very least we should be trying to protect these people by reducing the rampant spread of disease in public places.

Ive dealt with a lot of people with long covid related stuff for work. It is seriously bad news. Some of the stories are horrifying, and most of them involve people who were vaxxed and healthy when they got infected, I also know at least a dozen people outside work who have been affected to some degree.

As things currently stand, without precautions you can expect to be infected about twice a year. So if youre 30 now, you might be looking at another 80+ infections before you die. The chances of surviving that in one piece are virtually nil. Some people have figured that out already.

The percentage of mask wearers here might be slightly higher than what Shaka said, but in that range. Of those, the numbers trend highly to minorities -- Black, Hispanic, Asian -- and elderly. And snowflake Libs, of course. After not using one for most of 2022, I've started wearing again on the train (unless it's empty) and in some smaller, crowded stores. summer makes lunch and dinner much easier, lots of outdoor seating options. now I tend to avoid packed indoor places.

Your are living in a dream world if you believe masks have ANY effect whatsoever on transmission of this or any other virus. We've known this since November 2020 and publication of the DANMASK-19 paper. Transmission of bacterial pneumonia, perhaps, but not in the way you'd like. Being so clueless after 3 years is inexcusable, really.

However, it is Interesting to hear from you that most of the people with long COVID have partaken in the experimental, open label, gene therapy trial. Extraordinary. Maybe think about that a little longer. Is it possible that... could it be a case of... perhaps, maybe... is there any chance... no, it's OK forget it. You crack on, chief...

PS, remember your claim that COVID-19 leaves people who have had it with myocarditis? Not the case, according to a large retrospective study of the unvaccinated (i.e. had COVID before December 2020). Must be something else is causing the "tsunami" of myocarditis.

Yeah. We could discuss a limited 3 year old low quality study about surgical masks (literally described as a small, weak study that encouraged the spread of misinformation) or we could look at some things that have been established more or less beyond doubt over the last couple of years.

  • Masks prevent transmission. N95's are very effective, especially if fit tested, surgical and cloth masks less so. There are dozens, probably hundreds of high quality papers on this topic, so many that its redundant to even post them. Google "mask effectiveness covid" and you'll find tons of peer reviewed studies.

  • Vaccines are hugely effective at reducing deaths and hospitalisations. Vaccine damage does happen but is rare and is almost always less severe than the damage caused by serious Covid infection. Vaccination also has a limited effect on reducing the chances of long covid. Also, the unvaccinated were at least 2 times more likely to have died than the vaxxed in the this years abnormally high wave of excess deaths (in the UK). Again this has all been exhaustively documented in a huge range of credible studies.

Of the people Ive dealt with personally, one was infected pre-vaccination and she is by far the most tragic case. Infected early 2020, suffered a series of bizarre health issues, culminating in seizures and serious neurological problems. Finally got a diagnosis of a covid related inflammatory brain condition, probably some kind of endothelial problem. One of the most brilliant people I know and hasn't worked in over 2 years. The govt just shut down the only long-covid clinic in the country that could treat her.

Another awful situation that came up this year was around a 15 year old unvaccinated girl. She had had covid three times and suffered a serious of strokes after the last infection. Her mother was trying to negotiate work from home as she needed to care for her daughter and she was also terrified of bringing covid home from her unmasked workplace and killing her child in the process.

Anyway, Covid is the most studied disease in history. We know a lot about its effects and prcoesses now. If anyone's interested in the facts just go to the lancet/BMJ/nature or any credible journal, or even take a look at the financial press. The FT/Bloomberg/Forbes etc do some very good reporting.

Or you could listen to the horse paste libertarians of the world, I dunno.

Multiple studies showed that COVID-19 increases the risk of heart inflammation more than vaccines do; study in Israel misleadingly used to claim otherwise

Inadequate support: The study only included myocarditis and pericarditis diagnoses made at least ten days after a positive SARS-CoV-2 test, when patients are recovering, but not cases during COVID-19 itself. The study also included only a limited subset of myocarditis and pericarditis diagnostic codes, leaving out in particular diagnostic codes specific for myocarditis associated with viral infection.
Cherry-picking: Multiple large-scale studies reported an increased risk of cardiovascular complications associated with COVID-19, including myocarditis and pericarditis, which are ignored by claims like this.

I think that if the guy who does those ultra-macho announcements for very violent video games read HMG's post and droid's response, he'd bellow "MULTI-KILL!!!" or something like that.

Just to be clear, you are declaring the one survey that says what you want it to to be correct, and the hundreds that disagree with you, despite being carried out more rigorously by better respected bodies on larger numbers of people, to be incorrect - and anyone who hasn't drawn the same conclusion is living in a dream world?

Hospitals and doctors offices always have been concentrated with sick people, but fair enough. What I find more worrying is the psychological effect it's had on so many people, to the point where they're still wearing masks in the street, walking in the park or even in their cars, often alone. Not everyone of course, most people don't give a shit anymore, but quite a lot.

Do you see this much in The UK or the US? I think here in Spain where we had one of the strictest/longest lockdowns of anywhere it's really got to people. I get the impression that the mask thing for public transport is permanent now, there's no sign they're ever going to lift it. Which is bollocks.
Coming from Scandinavia this seems so strange to me. In Denmark all restrictions whatsoever has been lifted for a year now, now to mention that they were comparably lax to begin with. I can't help to think when I rarely see a person wearing a mask that they must be either Asian or paranoid-schizophrenic (just as I did before COVID).

However, excess mortality in DK is up now, so the mask-advocates will of course say that's why.

Amazing.

What is weirder? People wearing masks to try and prevent themsleves getting infected with a disease that is currently killing tens of thousands of people weekly, has left probably hundreds of millions with some form of chronic health condition or disability and is the subject of thousands of studies showing the extensive damage it can do to your immune system and pretty much every organ and system in the human body.

Or

Walking around in total ignorance of this reality, leaving yourself completely naked to infection, scoffing at people who have no choice but to avoid covid or face severe health outcomes and gambling every day that you will somehow avoid the 10% chance of long covid after repeated 'mild' covid infections whilst happily spreading the disease without a single thought for the many vulnerable people around you.

From Feb there will be no masks required anywhere except hospitals etc in Germany. It's already been very lax for a while now even on public transport which is still one of the main places it's enforced. Many public places like bars and clubs have been mask free for some time.

Can't believe how badly the NWO secret global government has dropped the ball on this, smh.

Masks are ridiculous and ineffective unless welded to your face, with no gaps, and adequate filtration that makes it difficult to breathe, but as a personal choice to advertise your political leanings and social conformity, they're fine, of course.

More pressing, right now, the ONS excess death tables here in the UK very clearly show that excess all cause death rates is greater in the vaccinated than the unvaccinated, and greatest in young and middle-aged males.

https://www.ons.gov.uk/file?uri=/pe...may2022/referencetable06072022accessible.xlsx table 5

Have a good scroll about and see what you think. It's a huge table, divided into male/female/COVID/all cause/age cohorts. But let's look at all-cause mortality for 50-59 year olds in April 2022.
Age Standardised AC Mortality rate / 100,000 person years is higher in the most vaccinated.

By all means, carry on as you see fit, but you should probably consider more of the evidence available, not solely that spoonfed to you by the BBC, Guardian, and other approved left of centre media outlets. MB and I have supplied plenty of evidence to the contrary over the years.

Here's the latest. If it doesn't contradict your in-the-wool programming too painfully, spend a moment with this commentary on UK All Cause Mortality.

The best thing about being a conspiracy theorist? No myocarditis.

Perfect? No. Useless? Also no. It's like a car windshield with the windows down. Not air tight but plenty of stuff can pass through. Blocks the majority tho. And those reduced numbers make a difference.
