I'm noticing a pattern here, whenever they play a team beginning with S it tends to be a dull game with few if any goals and the most likely result after 90 min a draw. And in those that went to ET and pens England prevailed

Contrast that with their match against Denmark, their only non-S qopponent, I'm sure that everyone who saw it wil hve it forever imprinted on their brain cos of course it was a scintillatingly boring, corruscatingly dull game with few goals and it finished level after 90 minutes.

So England NL tonight - for those who believe in signs, omens and the like, then it seems likely we can look forward to a game in the second category, that is to say a boring game wirh few goals that will finish with both sides on level pegging after 90.

If England do somehow wriggle past the obdurate Dutch to face Spain we'll most likely be back to category one ie a boring, low scoring game that goes to ET after a tedious 0 - 0 draw. Ot possibly a tedious 1 - 1.

Exciting stuff eh, if anyone was in two minds about watching then the above should help them decide.

Banned by Starmer. He's trying to destroy this beautiful country. Hitchens was right.

Was that offside? I guess that there is some flawless machine judging it that can't be wrong or something, but they only showed one replay (Dutch tv) and I couldn't have called that.... admittedly my attention might have been slightly distracted by the enormous celebratory hit of crack I had as the net billowed...

glad holland is out too bad that old fart koeman with his conservative shit football extended his contract, either way it would've been an embarrassment if they'd made it into the final after ending third in the group phase and playing austria turkey and england
