Tinchy Stryder's Mainstream Money? I was so sure that was Maniac. The fact you say it makes me question whether or not I'm right, but are you thinking of Music Money, a tune that was produced by Rossi B and Luca?

Yeah i think rossi b and luca did the beat that wiley vocalled as music money with machine gun blasts in it and he says 'rossi b and luca have done it again'

whereas maniac did tinchy's beat

Sorry, llow me, I just realised I don't even know what mainstream money actually is.

Music Money is incredible though, I agree. That sort of riddim is much more appealing to me than a lot of Maniac's stuff, as much as I do rate him.

I like guys like Nocturnal, D.O.K., and Dot Rotten because they still produce some tunes that have that "Forward" quality with lots of snares and don't sound so half-timed like a lot of grime (read: Maniac) beats do these days.

Overall I'd say Silencer is my favourite present grime producer. I'm happy to see he is being consistent with releases.

Does anyone know if Footsie's "3 Plates" was ever released digitally?

i like dot rotten as a producer but as an mc hes just a bit boring imo. nocturnal did asher d's whoa right? big tune. id have liked more of those 'forward' (ie uptempo) tunes on the newham gens album...
