Dissensus Cassette Swap: Third Time Lucky

I've got a tape but I haven't listened to it yet 'cause no tape player. I'm going to my girlfriend's house this weekend and she's got one and I've packed the tape and I promise not to leave without listening to it and doing a song by song breakdown.

I've really enjoyed the process of compiling a CD, receiving another and reviewing it - although I don't think my musical knowledge has been sufficient to give a suitably in depth description of the expansive tape I received.

Fingers crossed the rest of the reviews do make an appearance. Its a slap in the face of the compilers not to!

You're right of course and I'm way behind and it's inexcusable and everything but I WILL do it I promise. I went to visit my girlfriend and she has a tape recorder and I've listened to more than half of it so the wheels are in motion... it's just sitting there on my bedside table at the moment looking accusingly at me every time I get up and go to bed.

Oh no, that wasn't aimed at anyone. Its tough finding time to give the review the proper attention it deserves. Took me over 3 months! It was well worth it in the end though as mine was a mix I genuinely enjoyed.

I think at some point if mine doesn't get reviewed I'm just going to up the mp3s i have of each side and "review" it myself.

The saddest part about not getting a review is not being able to see my tape's cover art ever again...

Hey, I’m in the midst of reviewing your mix, actually! That is, if by “reviewing” you mean “listening to”, and if by “listening to” you mean “the occasional play every other month or so.” It should be in before summer, along with a download link to a 320kbit rip of the whole glory and a cover scan.

Well, the one I got didn't have too much in the way of cover art so I guess it's not yours.

I doubt very much that you'll see a review. Your swapper has said he's not going to be doing one. A better solution might be to send me the link to your rip and I'll send it along to the one poor bastard who never saw his tape.
