Yeah I wonder if there is a better term for this than 'culture-signaling' which is how I described it, because its not exactly the same as virtue-signaling - its more about communicating where you stand because of the social/cultural currency that grants you. Maybe in some celebrity cases, its more than that, IE maybe they're actually helping humanitarian efforts, but on a level of optics and PR much of it feels like signaling.

I thought the missile/part-missile was supposed to have turned back on its original trajectory after malfunction; the doppler and the crater analyses don't speak to whence it was originally launched.
The logic is not complete either as Israel may be creating misinformation to strengthen the impression that something that actually did happen indeed happened.
