Actually, no, I'm going to up this Slimzee set full of Slimzee dubplates from '99 to '02 instead, some oneaway show.
Wiley one is coming now, but this is in place of the B2B Rossi B & Luca, because this seems like more of a "classic" set innit.

Straight shower set, just an hour of Will spitting Slimzee dubplates including a couple of really weird ones.

If anyone can tell me what the mad mad rhythm is around 43/44, tell me. I've never heard anything like that in a grime set before. What's interesting to me, about these sort of weird tracks is that they're basically indications of unexplored avenues. Mad stuff.

Going for something to eat now, I'll be back 9ish with this Slimzee set.

This is really, really early. Hard to place the date exactly, the person the set came from is saying 1999/2000, could be slightly older but it's early anyway. And very fucking hype.
Marcus Nasty's still banged up, that early.

Quality is great as well, considering the shittyness of a couple of the things I've put up recently (in terms of decaying tapes etc).

90 odd minutes, full PAUG crew, Target on decks. Old DEE is really weird to listen to I think. Quality is a little crackly, but again a large improvement to the Dizzee/Wiley solo sets. Saying that, those tapes had been completely rinsed, and rightly so.
I love this era though, maybe more than "peak era" grime itself. Completely forgot how much I loved that "Camels" tune as well.

(The set is likely to be from 2001 (the first track is Zinc's 'Kinda Funky' which came out mid 2001). Some of the tunes are from much earlier, seems like the DJ's simply playing some old school too).

Completely right. Don't listen to me I'm just trying to be clever. It doesn't sound that old a set though, even though none of the tunes seem to be from after 2000. I'm just surprised they are so sophisticated this early. I have a number of tapes from different crew in 2000 and none are anywhere near this level.

Basically right around the time Ruff Sqwad's Tingz In Boots started coming through. This is a brilliant set, actually. Can't recommend it highly enough. It's a Deja Set and they end up on Jungle in the middle for fuck's sake.
They drop into some American rap near the end but don't kid yourself that this is the end of it because it isn't.

Now officially the clearest and longest Wiley B2B Dizzee set on the site. In internet existence?
