Other audience members shushed heckler, and 12-year-old Malakai M Bayoh received ‘wild applause’ for performance in Handel’s Alcina

“A 12-year-old boy was sweetly singing his lines when a man in the audience yelled, ‘Rubbish!’ and booed him,” he tweeted.
“Who would do that to a child?"
Who would do that to a child they say? Hmmm, I'm with you Shaka, it is funny as fuck - if you're gonna get up on the real stage and charge real prices for people watching you then aren't you announcing to the world that you are the real deal? The complete, finished artefact that is ready to join the professional sphere and deliver a full performance as a complete actor. He stood up there with his contemporaries and was no doubt happy to accept the full praise when it was going well - the day before when they got a standing ovation I bet he never said "oh no, only clap half as much for me cos I'm not an actual real actor yet" the massive hypocrite. Happy to be grown up when accepting praise or being sucked off by the chorus girls* but as soon as things get a bit tough he's back to being an itsy-bitsy little baby hiding behind mummy's skirts "oh it wasn't my fault, don't let the nasty men shout at me waaaah" - the double-standard makes me sick.
Er, just to be clear, that is roughly what you were getting at right Shak? Yeah must be.
*well maybe not at twelve... though I dunno, you can never trust luvvies and judging by his picture if I saw it he would probably look like one of the very worst of them
