Then again I suppose you wouldn't call this Gee set 'funky' really, aside from one or two tunes.

Again it interests/excites me to see people mixing things up.

I'm a bit flippin surprised by the sound of some of this I got to say. Would prefer more 'normal' funky and less straight (tech/tribal?) house though. Drifting towards Clairvoyants territory.

It really doesn't seem that long ago he was playing pretty horrible slow trudgestep down at FWD and I was thinking what has happened to a maestro here..

going through the backlog of all the mixes ive DL'd, this cooly g stand in for plastician mix is ridiculously good. shes almost as good a selector as old plastic.

Thanks to Faustus for the heads up on Da Style Deh, such a good tune for funky adaptation :D

thanks for the lil silva mix.

having had the song pop up in two mixes in the last few pages of the thread, i'm going to take this time to restate how great i think Perempay's Teedra Moses mix is. by far my favourite production of his.

After work I put on House Vibes 9 which was banging.
I'm half way through Lil Silva at the moment after a short break. UK music is big right now.

yes. theres a live mix of him out in napa earlier in this thread and on his facebook.

two new fuzzy logic records, bangers and mash vol 2 and in the morning
really great exhuberant stuff, loving the latin side and the kinda quite classic older house vibe, and the moogy theo parrish licks with mashed rhythims thing in their tracks.
