Well, we both thought it was more ghettotechy stuff than juke. Not that many toms... I dunno, i dont' think I was THAT drunk :eek:

sound was not amazing downstairs though, and other people i talked to thought so too..

I saw him Bristol he was playing at ten then went straight up to London afterwards. It was pretty much empty so their was no vibe, wasn't amazing tbh which is a pity. makes a big difference when its empty though. Had a quick chat with him afterwards (basically bigging him up and asking why he was playing so early) before he got the taxi up to London, sound bloke!

To whoever asked the question about these guys listening to House and Hip-Hop, why yes of course, that's pretty damn obvious.

Also: Rashad loves Steely Dan, and Traxman made a track out of Velvet Underground's "Heroin" too. I've yet to hear the later, but I heard his remix of "I Am The Walrus" at a battle once it was dope. I was talking to him about Willie Nelson not long ago.

Oh yea and if you notice in my RP Boo interview, he name drops Charley Pride. As a huge fan of his, that blew me away.

god the search function on this forum does my head in. Am i being dumb, can you not search for something by the specific post? It only tells you the overall thread/topic your search term was posted in?

Basically i remember there was one or maybe a few fucking great dj assault mixes posted in this thread ages ago but searching for "dj assault" just brings up this thread, which isn't very helpful, and i can't see anywhere in the advanced search settings to change it to display posts rather than topics.

does anyone remember where these mixes are, before i start wading through the whole thing page by page? or can someone put me straight on the old search doohickey?

yeah i know there must be a load of milli juke mixes, i just cant find any lol.

i (v briefly) checked out our friend dj final trip on bandcamp. i dont know what to make of it. its like lo-lo-lo-to-no-fi general ambience/found sounds and weirdness lol.
